I had this pump for years. Finally the motor finally went out (trust me, the thing got ABUSED and withstood many more drops onto the floor and abuse by toddlers than it should have). I was starting a full-time job for a 2-month period and wanted a good pump to keep my supply up. I went to the store and bought the most expensive ($400 Medela) pump they carried. Supposed to have more suction than any on the market. Absolutely terrible design. They even tried replacing all the parts for me but the same problems (lots of milk leaked, NOT user friendly, lost suction, etc). They might market better than Ameda but you will NOT find a better design than this pump and attachments and the suction is much better with the Purely Yours. My $20 hand-pump from Walmart has more suction than that Medela pump!!! This is incredible value, about as lightweight as you'll find and the best design hands-down. Definitely designed & tested by real moms!!! I returned the Medela back to the company and I'm getting another Purely Yours!

I first received this pump in 2005, while serving in the Army, with my first child. It is now 2011, Im on my third and final child, and I still use this pump. It as normal wear and tear but still works well. I would highly recommed this pump to everyone. I've only had to replace the Flanges and I bought those at Target. Wonderful, wonderful product!!!!!!!

I bought a pump and it hurt so much I couldn't even get a bottle out of it, I decided to try this one before giving up in complete fusteration! I love it! Easy to use,easy to clean,gets the milk efficiently and best of all NO MORE PAINFUL PUMP!

I had this exact pump 9 years ago when I had my first child. I gave it away because I didnt think I would have another child. Well I have a new baby and bought it again. This pump works amazing. Its actually the best pump for this amazing price. You wont regreat it. It does not take long to pump.

I just begun to use this pump. I find the motor rather noisy....not too bad though. I think I need a smaller flange, not getting such a good suction even with the dial turned all the way up.I will get a smaller flange and reevaluate at a later time. Otherwise, excellent quality pump. Buy instead of Medela!!!!

I absolutely LOVE this pump! One of the OBGYN's I saw recommended it. I was a little nervous about it at first because so many people I know have Medela pumps, and no one else I talked to had used this pump. I had a Medela with my first child and wanted a second pump so that I didn't have to bring it back and forth to work and could keep one there and one at home. So currently I use the Medela at home and the Ameda at work. I definitely prefer the Ameda and am so glad I bought this instead of another Medela. This one was so much less expensive and I just use my own bag for it, and this is the one I use the most. I would highly recommend this pump to anyone!! I work full time and pump 2x a day and it's fast and comfortable and works great. You won't be sorry if you purchase this pump.

I purchased this the first week after my first baby was born and used every day for almost 9 mo after I went back to work full time. I loaned it to my sister who nursed for 5 months and I am using it again now, my second baby is almost 6 months old. I am just now starting to hear some faltering in the motor. It has been a great product and very much worth the price - particularly when compared to the cost of formula and other similar pumps. I have given it very extensive use and I would definitely purchase again.
